New Attitude is almost here! In just a few days, Christians from all over the nation will be gathering at Louisville, KY to worship God and experience rich fellowship with one another. I know many of you will be attending the conference, and I trust that the Lord will do many mighty works there.
In preparation for this conference, we have a prayer meeting tomorrow night at 7:30pm in the Basement Auditorium. We’ll provide some helpful information you should have about the conference and a few suggestions from me for making the most out of your experience at NA. We’ll also have an opportunity to pray together in small groups for this conference.
Just a quick reminder that all the college groups will be meeting together tomorrow night at 7:30pm in the basement auditorium to talk about our plan for CG this coming year. Look forward to seeing you then!
You might have known this already, but all the Crossroads messages that we’ve given this year are available online at our church website. Click here to download these messages! I’ve also added a link to this blog for an easy access. Look to your right and scroll down…
This Thursday we will have the graduating high school seniors join us for the first time at Crossroads! I want to encourage you to go an extra mile to greet and reach out to those seniors. Being there for the first time can be an intimidating experience for them, so let’s take this opportunity to extend warm welcome to these guys! Come early at 7pm so you’ll have plenty of time to talk to them while you have some coffee… and be sure to wear a name tag!! Please pray for Vince as he prepares to preach the third message in our series on Purity.
Covenant Life Church has put together a list of helpful articles, sermons, and books that would help us respond to tragedies in our lives. They did this in response to what happened at Virginia Tech last month, but these resources will help us prepare for the inevitable trials and sufferings we will encounter if we live long enough. You can get them here.
I’ve added a new link to this blog. It’s LifeChoices Resource Center. LifeChoices is part of Sanctity of Life Ministries, an organization that seeks to provide help for women with unexpected pregnancy (and men as well). You probably know that our church has been partnering with them for years now to love and care for women who need help and their unborn children.
You should check out the website and familiarize yourself with what kinds of service they provide. Maybe some of your friends from school or work are sexually active and concerned about being pregnant or contracting STDs. LifeChoices would be a great resource. Tell your friends about it!
