Lunch with the New Caregroup Leaders
Attention, career singles…
Now that you know who your CGLs are going to be, I’m sure you’re eager to meet them and get to know them, so… We’re organizing a lunch (free food!) on
Sunday, 7/22 after the service at 12:30pm in the Basement Auditorium
so you can meet the new CGLs and their wives.
This will be a great opportunity for you to get to know your new leaders before you start meeting as a CG, so please be thinking about what questions to ask them, what you can do to get to know them better, etc. Please RSVP to Christine Hawes (703-691-0600) by no later than Wednesday, 7/18 so we know how much food to buy. I look forward to seeing you all there! And don’t worry, we won’t be serving sushi for lunch!

Funny, I had the complete opposite reaction.
It may be beneficial for me to here point out that my above comment was made in regard to Mel’s comment — not Bethany’s. I believe Bethany’s comment was siting in the moderation limbo when I typed my own comment.
I can’t imagine a worse way to start out than by emphatically affirming that I am not looking forward to meeting anyone.
