Help for parents.
June 21, 2005 11:07 pmParents, here’s one for you. The June email newsletter from the Christian Counseling & Education Foundation included the following entry. Enjoy.
Parenting Teens Wisely: Mission Impossible? Feels that way to a lot of us, doesn’t it? Without the grace and wisdom of Christ, it is flat impossible. Yet our heavenly Father is pleased to give us everything we need in his Son to parent our teenagers courageously, humbly, lovingly, wisely. The summer issue of the Journal of Biblical Counseling features a number of excellent articles (including two written by Tedd Tripp, author of Shepherding a Child’s Heart) drawing from the depth and breadth of Scripture to help you see your teens and and the parenting task with fresh eyes, perhaps new eyes. For a full listing of articles in this issue, point and click here. We think you’ll be encouraged by what you find.
Incidentally, you should know that if you have teenagers (or a spouse, or a coworker, or a friend), then you qualify as a counselor. The Journal of Biblical Counseling would be worth your time. I highly recommed it! Subscribe here.
