Happy Birthday, five15 Blog

It was one year ago today that I wrote My First Post. Now, 365 days and 421 posts later, we’ve reached a milestone: a year of blogging. Just think: a year ago, five15 didn’t have a name. We were just that nameless youth ministry. A year ago, it was still 2005. A year ago, George Bush was president. A year ago, we were all 12 months younger. Time does fly.

I spent some time last night browsing our cache of youth ministry musings, and I think I found the serious posts (A Lot of Names, Part 1 and Part 2) and the funny post (Snipes Are Real) that I had the most fun writing.

Let me say thanks for your continued interest. I wouldn’t do this if y’all didn’t read it: I certainly have no desire to be the sole market for my own mutterings. I love writing for you guys, and I look forward to continuing to serve you. I’m honored that you would take the time to check in each day, and I hope you’ve been well-served. Thanks for reading.
