National Ice Cream MonthJuly 5, 2006 10:18 amIt was a slow holiday weekend on the blog; we went away with my family for a brief vacation to Charleston, SC. While there, I made an intriguing discovery: July is National Ice Cream Month. I’m not sure who gets to designate months thus, but I think it’s only fitting that the month containing my birthday be National Ice Cream Month. Breyer’s Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream can’t be beat. I am firmly of the opinion that mint chocolate chip should be white, not green, and no one does it better than Breyers. Second favorite: Ben & Jerry’s Marsha Marsha Marshamallow. You can laugh if you like. I’m laughing, too. All the way to the freezer. What about you? How will you celebrate National Ice Cream Month?

I think that we should have Ice-Cream sundaes at the 5:15 Meeting on saturday, in observance of the great man who thought of dedicating a whole month to Ice-Cream…

I’m gonna have to agree with Jonny…
~also (in my opinion) MINT chocolate chip ice cream should be green because mint is actually green…..~
i think we should all get fat on ice cream.
and i second (or third) jonny\’s idea!
We’ll think about it. Come and see on Saturday night.
In the meantime: got a favorite ice cream?

yayy!!
My favorite is chocolate…..
My favorite is the new Cyclone Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, from Breyers…
notin\’ beats good ole\’ vanilla. i think choco takes too much like dark choco, which i dont like.
I don\’t really have a favorite brand, anything with peanut butter (though plain vanilla is terrific too). The best icecream I\’ve found is from Coldstone Creamery: Peanut Butter Cup Perfection.
