Summer Reading Challenge Ends
August 23, 2006 8:47 am
Summer is almost over, and so is the Summer Reading Challenge. If you completed the reading by the time the retreat starts this evening, then you have done it: you have completed the Summer Reading Challenge. For the teens, this means reading R.C. Sproul’s classic works, Knowing Scripture AND The Holiness of God. For parents, your challenge was to read either the Sproul books with your teens or Paul Tripp’s Lost In The Middle.
If you finished the Summer Reading Challenge, I want to reward you with the item of your choice from the bookstore. Book, music, whatever you like. If you’re coming to the retreat, I’ll be handing out coupons for your free item there. If you won’t be at the retreat, come see me on Sunday.![]()
And let me say THANK YOU to all of you who completed the Summer Reading Challenge. That you would use your summer to grow in godliness and to learn about God speaks volumes about your love for the Savior. Well done!
How many of you made it? What did you learn?

I made it!! I agree, knowing scripture was harder. The Holliness of God really helped me put God in perspective!
