Steve

I think there's another Piper book called Amazing Grace in the Life of William Wilberforce. Truthfully, I haven't yet read it.

There's also this article Marvin Olasky has written on Wilberforce

http://www.townhall.com/columnists/MarvinOlasky/2007/02/01/remembering_a_hero

On a completely different note, a couple of years ago, in a bidding frenzy on eBay, I spent too much in purchasing an early edition copy of Wilberforce's book entitled -

"Practical View of the Prevailing Religious System of Professed Christians, in the Higher and Middle Classes in This Country, Contrasted with Real Christianity"

What a title...he might have been a great reformer for social justice but apparently he knew little about catchy titles and marketing.

I've been so excited about the movie coming out ever since I heard about in a few months ago. I've seen trailers for it and it looks REALLY good! The actor who plays William Wilberforce is a great actor (I've seen him in other movies) and is very passionate. Perfect for the part.
