Wilberforce On Work

I love William Wilberforce’s approach to work:

“I daily become more sensible that my work must be affected by constant and regular exertions rather than by sudden and violent ones.”

Yep. The tortoise beats the hare and faithfulness means getting the little things done a little a time rather than putting work off in the hopes that a last-second thrashing effort will get the job done.
