Some opportunities to get equipped are coming your way this weekend. On Saturday, Vince and Seita are teaching a parenting seminar called based on the Shepherding Your Child’s Heart material for parents of 1-9 year olds. Starts at 9:00am.

Sunday morning before church, I start a three-part Sunday School class called “A Green Thumb in Parenting.” It’s not too late to plan on coming, even if you didn’t get to signup.

In the first session, on Sunday morning, we’ll be talking about having gospel centered conversations with our kids, how “tills the soil” of their hearts, helping to prepare their hearts for the seed of the gospel. I’m planning a short teaching to frame our discussion, and then I hope for us to discuss the questions you have about conversing with your kids and leading them towards the gospel.

I have asked some experienced parents to come and talk to us about what they’ve learned, and I know they will be eager to answer questions you have. Please be thinking about what questions you’d like to ask, and please be praying for our time together!
