Maybe you’ve heard me say, “We’re all going to be dead soon.” I’m trying to shake up those feelings of teenage invincibility and help people “live wisely, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.”
Apparently I’m not the only one convinced that “I’m going to die soon.“

One Response to “Death Awaits”
As I’ve gotten older as well, I find myself thinking about things such as the brevity of life that I would not have thought of when I was a child. How glorious, though, is the thought that because of Jesus work on the cross, heaven will be eternal joy with Him.
Don’t Waste Your Life by John Piper has been an excellent book to focus my heart on what is most important in life so my life isn’t wasted. By His grace, I will live for things eternal. Chapter three was particularly helpful. To find my joy in Him and glorify him is the bottom line. I pray to make much of HIM through my life.
