By all accounts, the Old Rag Hike was a raving success. For me, the daily totals included more than a gallon of water, 5 granola bars, a turkey sandwich, Chex mix, 7.1 miles, 2510 vertical feet, 90 photos and many, many fun conversations.
To those of you who came, thanks for coming, and thanks for not falling off any cliffs! Send me your best 2-3 pictures, and I’ll post an Old Rag photo gallery in a couple of days. In the meantime, here are a couple of my favorites:

Wow…the hike was a blast….
I really really loved climbing the boulders! Your rock climbing tips were very helpful, I ended up using the two-fingered one later on the hike!
Yea, the hike rocked!
The views were amazing, the scenery was beautiful and hanging out with my friends was fun.
The whole hike was grace-filled; it was an amazing display of God\’s beauty and creativity through Creation.
I’d say that my favorite part was climbing and scrambling over the boulders. That’s where the hard stuff ended and the fun began!!
Please not in the picture above that Steve was uprighting the porta potty, not flipping it over with a hiker inside!
The entire hike was great! Just being able to talk with many different people at different times was fun.
And Steve, I think that the actual total was 8.8 miles: 7.2 on the trail itself + 1.6 from the lower parking lot and back.
That last one was me.
I loved the Boulders!!!!! I like jumping on and off of stuff so that was fun for me…… The ‘Antique Tables Made Daily’ sign on the way in was hilarious!
