I can’t wait to hear the message. I was really convicted, by the last one, that I’m often too comfortable with things around me that are shaping me. I’ve been too passive in how I respond to things. Like, I might say “I can listen to this or watch that or hang out with them cause it’s not going to affect me.” But it does. Everything in life has some affect on us either for good or bad. God showed me that rather than accepting these things, I need to “push back” especially when I can be an example to someone else in doing so. Also, the message on friendship was really great. It made me wonder why, with all the good that being a gospel friend can do, I could ever settle for just “hanging out” with people. I often am looking for what I can get out of my friends but I want to be able to help them by preaching the gospel to them more frequently.
