Now I Know I’m Getting Old

walker.jpgHere’s how I know:

  1. (I am not making this up) I’ve started receiving mail from the AARP — the American Association of Retired People.
  2. Three days later, my shoulder is still sore from playing dodgeball.

And to think I used to be invincible.

Steve, I think that everyones arms are hurting… All the SLC kids I talked to are still regretting it…

You’re kidding. You’re actually getting stuff from AARP? That’s just bad market research (mislabled demographic?).

Personally, I wasn’t that sore. Perhaps because I wasn’t hitting the young ladies as hard as some of the other SLC guys?

My wife has a walker with wheels since she had back pain, Christmas Eve, and she’s only 45!!!! I tear-up AARP mail, but it keeps on coming.

Getting old?
The first thing to go is the eyesight!
Then you’ll need Wal-Mart reading glasses!

The next thing to go, Steve, is the hair!
