Serving at the Pastor's College was a great privilage. Thinking about how this PC will be used to instruct and train pastors from all over Latin America in preaching the gospel in their countries is such an amazing thing.

As part of the work at the PC, some of us got to climb on the top of Gracia Soberana to hang a large sign. The view from the top was amazing! There are very few tall buildings in Juarez and no trees. So from the top, you could see practically the whole city for miles.

Playing with the kids was tons of fun. All of the younger kids were so eager to be loved and to play with you. In the short time that I helped with the kids on Thursday, a number of them felt comfortable with me to the extent that they were throwing themselves at me off of benches, expecting me to catch them!

- I woke up at 3 AM the first night and God immediately put Ps. 34:1 in my heart: I will bless the Lord at all times, his praise shall continually be on my mouth. This verse encouraged me all week - as I struggled at times.
- It was neat to see how the Spirit worked through Jed’s devotions from Romans 8 to encourage so many folks.
- Great times of fellowship and worshipping God in the morning.
- Getting to know some of the old guys and playing Pitch and Eucker at night.
- Seeing Guadalupe Peak from the air – 1500’ shear cliffs! What a great master architect.
- Seeing heroic serving, especially Kevin B, David B, Dave D, Jim, and Zach, joyfully installing insulation. What an evidence of grace.
- And overall, to be a part of paving the way for pastors being trained to advance the Gospel in MX and further south.

That triple combo of encouragement, devotionals, and worship we had every morning was one of my highlights.

Another highlight was getting to hang out with the kids at the ranch that I knew from last time. I want to go back.

Being part of something so large as pushing the gospel into central Mexico, Central America and even South America. It is a tremendous priviledge to be part of something so large in such a practical and personal manner.

And I loved sharing time with other Dads outside my caregroup. Thanks guys!

Going to Mexico is always a thrill for me and like everyone else it is hard to limit the list of highlights
-- knowing that all the work we did was connected to spreading the gospel in Mexico and South America.
the teens living out 2Tim 4:12 sowing godly examples into the children lives.
working on the PC Dorms, preparing a place for men to be trained in strong, biblical doctrine.
-- serving with godly men and women who were eager to serve with glad hearts
-- Godly fellowship when driving, at meals and at down time.
-- the morning devotions, all the young men did outstanding. thank you men for your time and effort -- Acts 4:13b "they had been with Jesus
-- Gary Helms and Paul Uribe -- great leadership
-- Terry Morstad -- she wasn't in Mexico but her finger prints were all over everything we did -- God Bless you, Terry

Gosh, where to begin?

Seeing God's hand at work in another country was so great - especially in the contrast of our rich United States and Mexico's poverty. God is still there and living in Mexico! This trip really showed me that He truly is "Lord of EVERY nation, tribe, and tongue."

Of course, being with the kids was wonderful, too. As Sonja said, they were simply so joyful and happy to be with us. They loved being carried, hugged, "pulled" on the swing thing (lol, sorry - what do you call it?), and much more. I really do miss them already, but I'm hopeful with the thought of maybe seeing them again next year.

Also, hanging out with all you crazy teens was a blast. I will never forget all our jokes, as well as the wonderful fellowship we experienced. I hope to stay close with you all, and not let the [deeper] friendships we created fade.

Thanks to everyone for working hard and setting the example of Christ for me and all others who observed you working. It really was a highlight for me to simply work along side you all, and help in spreading the Gospel through completing our small tasks.

Highlights? The whole trip.
The Easter presentation at the church was awesome. I was amazed at God's grace. I was not on the list to go originally but by his sovereign grace a spot opened and I was able to go.
The whole thing was in Spanish, which I do not speak, and it was still so unbelievably powerful. This displayed the wonder of the gospel because it is so amazing that its glory is conveyed even without words.
Being with the kids was also incredible. They were all so much fun to be with. They always greeted me warmly. The first day of kids club Chuy walked in and gave me a huge hug and I had never seen him until that moment. I love and miss them all.
I saw so much of God's amazing grace through the trip it was extremely powerful. I would go back in an instant.

Many things. Getting to hang out with some of the people(from the group) that I didn't know to well, trying to communicate to the kids in Spanish(humbling and encouraging experience), giving kids rocks, the food, the devotions/worship time after breakfast, working alongside you guys....The list can go on forever. I really hope that I can go next year.

- the way the teens all cared for each other.
- the godly attitude of each person working.
- the devotions each morning (watch out Mr. Mullery, there are some preachers in the younger ranks!)
- hearing everyone pour out their hearts in worship each morning
- the food!!
- the outpouring of care for Hannah and I after her injury
- Dean's face when he saw how much work we were able to accomplish

I just loved being able to continue friendships with the kids that I knew from the last trip, that was so awsome for me. I also loved being able to see more faith in one place then I can remember seeing anywhere else. All they have down there is their faith, and they are blessed for it.
